So about a few weeks ago (not exactly sure when it started) my computer stopped allowing me to access certain websites. It started out with only a few, but now it is almost 50-80% not connecting. “Can’t access” is a difficult phrase. Do you mean it just never comes up? Let’s say your website is on ISP A. I’m assuming your site comes up on ISP A, to whom you are connected. Oct 22, 2008 · the only way im able to connect to the site is though proxy but it takes away alot of the tools. I'm getting so annoyed. I reset the stuff in C:\windows\system32\drivers\ect\host I can connect to an archived web page of this site via the wayback machine archival website. I contacted my ISP provider and they suggested that I try to connect my computer up directly to the cable modem to bypass the wifi router and see if I can get to the website. They confirmed that they could access that web page from their end.
