Regardless of why you want to drop the cone of network connectivity silence over a given application, a trip into the guts of the Windows Firewall is an easy way to do so. It does not take a rocket scientist to work out what happens next, and simply flicking an app’s toggle to the off position will prevent it from using the iOS device’s WiFi capabilities. Importantly, in these situations the app will not fall back to using cellular data either, so you are in effect cutting the app off from the outside world The verdict: a nice, lightweight app that consumes less that 5 megs in memory. They can be disabled usually by going to Settings>Apps, clicking on the app in question (like the internet) and then the disable button.
